Unpacking the Hospital Amalgamation

Local health services are critical to the Alexandra community. Have a voice into a structure that is best for YOU.

Mergers are not Magic!

ADTTA undertook a desktop review of what actually happens in hospital mergers here in Victoria, across Australia and overseas. That review is now available in a short paper titled Mergers are not magic: What an Alexandra and Eastern Health merger requires to succeed.

Community Meeting

Consultation on the proposed amalgamation between Alexandra District Health and Eastern Health closes next week (Friday 21 November 2025). This meeting is one of the last opportunities for residents to understand what is being proposed, raise concerns, hear answers, and influence the direction of local health services that support us - the residents of Murrindindi.

Community Meeting

Alexandra Town Hall, Tuesday 18 November 4:30-5:45pm

The meeting finishes shortly before the 6pm Tea Talk hosted by Alexandra District Health at Alexandra RSL, giving attendees a timely chance to take their questions and feedback directly to the health service.
