PLACES TO EAT
Alexandra and the surrounding area is renowned for its fresh, diverse and bountiful local produce. What's more, you can taste the best in a variety of ways - from roadside stalls and shop fronts to makret sellers, country pubs, food festivals, pick-your-own farms and winery restaurants pairing signature wines and high-quality fare.

Murrindindi produces 80% of Australia's trout market, making it the "National Centre for Excellence in Trout". You can visit the local farms and try your hand at catching your own or choose from the selection of fresh or smoked.
