Alexandra Tourist Park is conveniently located within walking distance west of the township of Alexandra in the hub of the Shire of Murrindindi within a 2 hour drive North East of Melbourne CBD. The town has three banks and four hotels and a vast variety of shops, the Supermarket opens daily from 8am to 8pm.
Alexandra is centrally located to Lake Eildon (about a 20 minute drive) Lake Mountain (35 minute drive) and Marysville (25 minutes drive). Our town offers a Golf Course, Ten Tennis Courts, Lawn Bowls, Horse Racing, Speedway Racing, Timber & Tramway Museum, Antique Shops, Nurseries, Vineyards, Swimming Pool and Bingo. Many shows and events are staged throughout the year including, at Easter, our Fair and Art Show, during the Queens Birthday weekend the Truck Rod & Ute Show is staged.
You can enjoy Boating, Water Skiing, Sailing, White Water Rafting, Horse Riding, Bushwalking and Hiking. All within a short scenic drive. We have the best recognised Trout Fishing area in Victoria. Fishing is permitted all year round with the exception of the Rivers which cannot be fished for 3 months of the year beginning in June.
